Text: Galatians 4:1-7, Romans 8:14-15, Hebrews 5:12-14
Many believers are pre-occupied with prayer requests, waiting for God to do something. But God says I have accomplished all that I need to do (John 19:30) through my Son. Before now I had only one begotten Son, but now since you were crucified, died, buried and resurrected with him, my only begotten Son is now the first begotten of the dead and the prince of the kings of earth. You have been made a king and a priest (Revelations 1:5) and a joint heir with Christ, and all things are yours for the taking by faith (1 Corinthians 3:21,23)
We are kings in the kingdom of spirits where the Lord Jesus is the Kings of kings. Everything in the physical realm were produced from the spirit realm. The lord of all or heir as long as a child will lead the life of a servant(Galatians 4:1). It is our responsibility to exercise our five senses to discern between good and evil and grow into sonship in Christ(Hebrews 5:14).
AS many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. The more yielded we are to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, the more we grow into sonship in the kingdom, our lordship becomes practical and in manifestation.
Without Jesus we cannot receive anything. He is with us always (Hebrews 13:5, Matthew 28:20), and He that is in us is greater than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Jesus said in John 14:23 "if a man loves me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him" and I will manifest myself to him or her as righteousness., wisdom, sanctification and redemption(1 Corinthians 1:30).
Therefore rather than praying for things let us pray and confess that the God of peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant had made us perfect in our soul in every good work to do His Will working in us that which is pleasing in his sight through our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever, Amen(Hebrews 13:20); and spend much of our prayer time in worshipping God and Our Lord Jesus Christ and acknowledging the person of the Holy Spirit, loving him and developing our intimacy with Him and yielding our soul (mind, will and emotions) to Him so as to work in us to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). God bless you
