Look up to God in heaven and be blessed

Text: Psalm 121:1-8, James 1:21, Zechariah 9:11-12,Acts 7:54-60

The battle of this life is the battle for the soul of man. Where will your soul spend eternity? The mind, will and emotions which are the expression of the quality and quantity of life of a man are in the soul. The soul is under constant pressure to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God or the leading of the five senses, the world, or the devil etc. The soul of man has been wounded through sin, transgression and iniquity of several years and needs redemption. So man needs help. We can only get this help by looking up to heaven unto Jesus the author and finisher of the faith we need to prevail.
The process of redemption of the soul begins when a man becomes born again and his spirit is reborn; and he receives into his spirit, the Spirit of Christ.
Following this is the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit, if man cooperates with Him that will bring about the redemption of the soul by engrafting the word of God into man’s soul.
However the healing of the soul and the deliverance of the soul must take place for transformation to be effective.
So by looking up to the Cross, we behold the Blood of Jesus that delivers the soul form strongholds (Zechariah 9:12) and we behold the Sun of righteousness with healing in His wings (Malachi 4:2-3) to heal the soul wounds
And as we look and meditate on the Word of God we are transformed by the Holy Spirit from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) to a new image (new soul) from image to image i.e. from one level to another level.
Other benefits from looking up, he will preserve my soul; preserve from all evil; preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forever; He will keep me and not allow my foot to be harmed. He will not sleep nor slumber to do me good.
From this day, begin to practice looking up for God’s help and you will be immensely blessed.

God bless
