Turning Negative Situations or wilderness in our lives to blessings

Text: Jonah 2:8-9, Hebrews 13:15, Ephesians 5:20 Our Lord Jesus Christ did not come only to reveal God to man and reconcile man to God bringing man back into God's family, but also quite distinctly came to teach us how to live in the kingdom, especially how to eliminate the negative situations or circumstances that crops up in our lives. When Jesus faced some negative situations, He simply gave thanks to God in John 6:11 to release God's anointing for increase and in John 11:41 to release anointing to raise Lazarus from the dead. The Bible says when we give God glory through thanksgiving and praise(Psalm 50:23), God will prevail against our enemies, destroy and devour at once. God will make waste mountains and hills and dry up their herbs, dry up their pools, make their rivers islands(Isaiah 42:12-15). God will start will start leading us and make darkness light before us, and maketh crooked paths straight and not forsake us(Isaiah 42:16) The key to living abundant life in the kingdom is to be joyful and full of rejoicing in our heart.(Proverbs 17:22,Psalm 16:11, Joel 1:12, 1 Peter 1:8). That is the key to manifesting good health, prosperity, God's presence, faith is joy and the grace, mercy and favor of God.(Proverbs 17:22,Psalm 16:11, Joel 1:12, 1 Peter 1:8). Howbeit the key to rejoicing is gratitude or gratefulness or thankfulness. So Apostle Paul under incarceration in the prison said " I think myself happy". Why? Because he was grateful to suffer for the sake of Christ (Acts 5:12). Irrespective of the negative situations you find yourself, find something around you are grateful for, and as you do, you harness the power of God (His love and grace) that eliminates the negative situation. Be positive to everyone you talk to and be happy. Be grateful for everything you have around you-the running water, the electricity etc. and everything will start changing for good. Give thanks for your five senses, for your physical body, soul and spirit for they are fearfully and wonderfully made(Psalm 139:14), for your home, for your family, for your friends, for your job, for your business, for the money in your hand, for your achievements, for everything that is good. Remember all good things come from God, the father of lights with whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning.(James 1:17) When you give thanks, the victory Jesus won on the Cross for you will be manifested in your life( 1 Corinthians 15:57). When you give thanks to the Father, He will cause you to triumph in everything and in every place(2 Corinthians 2:14). When you give thanks, God's grace or favor will be released to help you. When you give thanks, it shows you love God and that you acknowledge His love (mercy) and goodness (grace and favor) towards you which enables God to manifest the blessings He hath prepared for you.(Psalm 136:1,1 Corinthians 2:9). The scriptures say "He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.”-Psalm 50:23. When God comes on the scene, the spirit of fornication, uncleanness, covetousness, filthiness, foolish talking ,and jesting will have no place in your life, because they loathe worship and thanksgiving to God, Alleluia.(Ephesians 5:1-4) Gratitude or thanksgiving brings what you want in life. Be thankful for what you want in life as though you have already received it and sooner or later it will manifest in your life. Gratitude for every good thing in your life eliminates the negative things (lying vanities) and is the best insurance that what you are and what you have will be sustained to continue in future and also multiply. Our text shows that Jonah turned away from observing the lying vanities or negative circumstances he was facing in the belly of the fish, so as not forsake God's favor or mercy needed to give him the breakthrough he direly needed, but instead gave God thanks and his breakthrough was manifested. Glory to God in the highest. Our tongue and mouth when used to bring out good things or blessings bring glory to God and becomes a tree of life.(Proverbs 15:3) The power of life and death is in our tongue :life when we use it to give thanks to God and to men and confess the word of His grace; death when we use it to criticize , find faults , condemn God and men, and declare the negative situations happening that we are focusing on. Change that daunting situation in your life by giving God thanks and praise continually for other good things , God hath accomplished in your life and family continually and professing the Word of his grace which abideth forever. For we are not to look or focus or meditate on the things which are seen, because they are temporal and passing away, but on the things which are not seen-the word of His grace which are eternal and abideth forever.(2 Corinthians 4:18) God bless you and Shalom.

Seeking the Lord (2)

Text: Proverbs 8:17,33, Luke 5:16, Psalm 46:10 Jesus always withdrew to a solitary place to seek God, the Father(Luke 5:16).Go to a quiet place.Give thanks, praises and worship to our God.Let your heart be still before the Lord(and not wander about) and focus your whole being on Him.(Psalm 46:10)He knows when we are searching for Him with our heart. He has promised He will respond to us and be gracious and merciful(Jeremiah 29:12-14,Isaiah 30:18,29-31). God will give us a word from the Bible as we are worshipping Him or speaking the prayer language, and word of wisdom will be given us(1 Corinthians 2:7,14:2). We can also experience the shekinah glory of God(2 Chronicles 5:13-14) or a strong witness in our spirit about issues God wants us to know about and deal with. The Lord can also give us a word of knowledge concerning particular issues of the kingdom of God. As we minister to God, God sees it as love; captivity is removed, restoration comes and favor and blessings are ministered and added to us by Abba Father and Our Lord Jesus Christ(Jeremiah 29:13-14,Proverbs 8:17,33) Therefore learn to wake up early and seek the Lord-the heaven's radio frequency period, and enjoy the wonderful life changing experience of seeking God while He may be found. God bless you.

Seeking the Lord Jesus : Your Needs are Added to You.

Text:Matthew 6:33, Proverbs 8:17,33. Abraham,Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Lord Jesus Christ, Apostles, Disciples of Christ, and men of God who have triumphed in contrary times had one thing in common: Seeking the face of Jesus Christ in prayers, meditation and fellowship. The Lord Jesus Christ came to restore the broken fellowship between God and men(1 Timothy 2:5). He is the mediator of the Old and New covenant(Hebrews 8:6), for God is One God,both of the Jews and also of the Gentiles(Romans 3:29).He connects those who believe in God, all over the world to the Abraham's blessing as the heir of the world. During their sojourn to the promised land, anytime the Jews cried for help, for food, water, healing or protection, God sent them to Jesus to meet their needs(Jesus was represented as The Rock, The Manna from heaven, the brass serpent on the Pole for healing, The Captain of the Lord's hosts,The Tree that made the bitter water sweet, The Name of the Lord that slay Goliath, The Blood of the Lamb, The Word of God etc). God, Almighty delights in His Son, Jesus Christ daily(Proverbs 8:30,Matthew 3:17, Collossians 1 :13) and the Lord Jesus delights is in the son of men(Proverbs 8:31). So when we seek Jesus, we are seeking God, Almighty, Alleluia. He is our faithful High Priest, Mediator, Advocate, Intercessor, Surety, The Way, Our Head representing us His Body before the Almighty God at God's Right Hand of Power and Majesty, Alleluia. He is the Body with God , and also God with the Body and in the Body(Immanuel). He is Lord of lords, King of kings. All we need and shall ever need are all in Him and with Him;power, riches, wisdom, strength, glory, honor and blessing(Revelation 5:12) Communication is the greatest asset in love. The best of God is reserved for His lovers.(1 Corinthians 2:9). Seeking God early in the morning is the secret to the believer's triumph in life. (Psalm 27:8, 63:1, Isaiah 26:9) . We are not sufficient in ourselves to pray, to think anything or to do anything (2 Corinthians 3:5, Romans 8:26,4:5, Philippians 2:13).Our sufficiency is of God. As we seek God early we will never lack ,because we will be lightened and shame will end in our lives(Psalm 34:5),durable riches and honor will be given to us(Proverbs 8:17). The believer should not seek great things but rather seek the great God and the great Savior, Jesus Christ(Matthew 6:33).God is our exceeding great reward and our only and great need.(Genesis 15:2).All we need is found in Jesus Christ, because in Him consist all things(Colossians 1:17, Phillippians 4:19). Do not focus on achievement, but focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and He will use you to do what He pleases on this earth that belongs to Him. Instead of laboring and seeking for ways out of any challenge, seek the Lord Jesus Christ because He is the way out every wilderness or challenge. He has the solution and is the solution Provider. He knew right before hand that you will be faced with the challenge, and has made a provision for a way of escape. (Acts 4:27-29, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2:9-10). When you seek Him, He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).Abundant rest means abundant faith you need for triumph in life. They that believe have entered into their rest (Hebrews 4:3), and Jesus is the Source and the Finisher (who perfects and matures-Hebrews 12:2) of our faith as we seek Him. Faith is our victory over the wickedness in the world and quenches the fiery darts of the devil (1 John 5:4, Ephesians 6:16). As we seek Him He will give us desires and what to pray for(Psalm 37:4). As long as King Uzziah sought the Lord, He made him to prosper(2 Chronicle 26:5) The next blog will teach us how to seek the Lord in a practical way. God bless you

Making your faith work(3)-dealing with unbelief.

In Matthew 17;20, Our Lord Jesus taught us to fast and pray to reduce the unbelief in the soul(mind)occasioned by the flesh. In Matthew 9:27-30,Jesus asked the two blind men if they believed in His ability to open their blind eyes, and they answered Yes, and he counted that as their faith. In Proverbs 19:2, we are told that the Word of God which we meditate and confess will prosper our souls, and reduce unbelief. In Jeremiah 31:12, when we sing and rejoice together in the Church, our souls shall be as a watered garden and reduce unbelief. In Philemon 1:6, we are taught that our faith is made to work, once we acknowledge what we already have in Christ through the redemptive work on the Cross, even though we have not seen them, Alleluia. In Matthew 11:28, we are taught that fellowship with Jesus Christ will bring rest or prosperity to our souls. In Proverbs 6:32, keeping away from adultery will proper the soul and reduce unbelief. In 2 Peter 2:7-8, keeping ourselves from filthy conversations and unlawful deeds in the world around us through the print and electronic media will reduce unbelief and strengthen our faith, Alleluia. In 1 Peter 2:25, surrendering daily to and following after the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, Our Lord Jesus Christ will prosper our soul and reduce unbelief. He helped the man, who prayed to Him to help his unbelief. He can also do that for you and for me, Alleluia. In Mark 16: 17 and Luke 10:19, the believer was given authority and dominion over all the enemies. Unbelief is a spirit and can be cast out in the name of Jesus, Alleluia.

Making your faith to work(2)

In the physical realm, you see with your eyes. In the spiritual realm, you see with your faith, seeing the Word of God in pictures in your mind.Isaiah saw the Word of God (Isaiah 2:1).John the Beloved saw the word of God,(1 John 1:1-3). Joshua saw the Word of God in Joshua 6:2.Your dream or vision of the Word of God in your mind through deep thinking and repetitive speaking or confession releases the gift of faith in your spirit man into your life situation through your ind and then your physical body. We must deliberately take the Word of grace, keep speaking the Word of God, keep thinking deeply on the Word of God, until we start seeing them as pictures and images in our minds. The clearer they are, the stronger your faith to prevail and access the grace or favor of God(Romans 5:2). No wonder the devil fights to corrupt the minds of believers( 2 Corinthians 11:3) or blind the minds of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4). We have faith in our spirit man, but belief or unbelief in our soul(minds). When there is positive alignment between faith in our spirit man and belief in our minds or soul, then the physical body and external circumstances will experience God's blessing in Christ. However if we have unbelief in the soul(mind)due to carnality, worldliness or legalism and faith in the spirit, there will be misalignment or counterbalancing action, making a shipwreck of your faith which was traveling to your body and circumstances(1 Timothy 1:18-19). Faith and good or pure conscience work together to produce the blessing, Alleluia(1 Timothy 1:18-19, 3:9).

Making Your faith to work(1)

Faith generates anointing which destroys yokes or any hold on our lives and removes burden from our lives ( Isaiah 10:27, Ephesians 6:16, Hebrews 11:29-34, 1 John 5:4. Faith in what? Faith in the Covenant of grace or favor, The finished work on the Cross, The resurrection power inside us, The blood of Jesus, The Word of God, The Name of Jesus, grace of God, The help of God through the Holy Spirit and angelic ministrations, the presence of God with us, in the Person of god the Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. There is a law that governs the working of your faith. The law governing natural, human faith which we all have is that natural faith believe only what it can see, taste, smell, hear or feel. You will observe that the object of our faith in God cannot be seen; they are invisible. The law governing God's kind of faith is to believe in things that cannot be seen. You believe you receive your answer when you pray, not when you see things you have desired.Faith is a response to God's ability based on the word of God, which will influence your thoughts, words and actions. Even though you cannot see angels physically, but God's kind of faith, believes by acknowledging that angels are encamping around you and ministering to you as heirs of salvation(Psalm 34:7, Hebrews 1:14,Revelation 19:10, 22:9) To build such belief or trust in her heart, the woman with the issue of blood kept saying to herself in her heart(that is scriptural meditation),that she will be made whole if she touched the helm of the garments of our Lord Jesus Christ. She held fast to her confession of faith or her belief until it was registered and written indelibly in her mind or soul, and she received her breakthrough, Alleluia.

Your confidence in God is the Satan's target

In Isaiah 36:4, Rabshakeh, the representative of the King of Assyria, Sennacherib, said to King Hezekiah of Judah "what confidence is this wherein thou trustest? Lack of confidence in God is evidence of fear and lack of faith, for he that cometh to God must believe that God is, and rewards them that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).So Jesus admonished the disciples in Mark 4:40, " why are ye so fearful? How is that ye have no faith? Lack of confidence or presence of fear is evidence of no faith, the instrument to quench the fiery darts of the devil ( Ephesians 6:16). So what does it mean to have faith or not to have faith? See the next blog!

Answer to the Storms of life(3)

A great day effectual is opened unto you, and that is the main reason for the storm you are experiencing. The believer had been given power and authority by Jesus Christ in Luke 10:19 to exercise dominion over the enemies in His Name, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. So like Jesus did, rebuke the storm(situation, sickness, lack, debt, marital turmoil etc). Speak the Word of God against the obstacles or situation. They have ears to respond to the word of God. Storms have ears. Until the enemy hears from you , they will not obey and submit to you; fade from and be afraid from their hideouts (Psalm 18:44-45). Death and life are in the power of the tongue(Proverbs 18:21). Rebuking the storm is akin to resisting the enemy in the name of Jesus, and the Bible says they will obey and flee from you.So put the word of God in your heart and mouth through meditation and begin to release The Word of God as fire, hammer, rock against the situation. The storm will either bow or be totally annihilated (Jeremiah 23:29,Matthew 21:42,44), Alleluia. The more you confess the Word of God over any situation, the more the obstacles are being overcome, Alleluia.Jesus Our Lord said in Luke 21:15, that He gave us(His Body-the Church) a mouth and wisdom , which no adversary can resist or gainsay , alleluia. So engage your mouth to rebuke the storm and take your blessing. Continue to rebuke the storm until it disappears. Do not waver, until victory is enforced and manifested. God always admonished to totally annihilate the enemies. If you can pray the prayer language, letting the Holy Spirit pray through you to raise a standard against the storms in your life(Isaiah 59:19), to shoot down the adversaries like the lancer of the Roman soldiers, the better. That is the most effective way to pray without ceasing, because you are baptized with Holy Ghost and with fire, Alleluia.

Answer to storm of life(2)

Text; Mark 11:23, Numbers 14:28, Luke 21:15. We learnt that the starting point to dealing with storm is to have the attitude or the spirit of rest or confidence or trust or faith in God and His Word, that He is , and rewards them that diligently seek Him.Isaiah 30:7 tells us that seeking hep from the world or others aside God is in vain, and admonish us to sit still, meditating on the Word of God and focusing on Jesus Christ to draw strength from above to take wise steps in the direction of victory, Alleluia. We are told in Isaiah 30:15b, that when we return to God in confidence, rest and quietness, we will receive strength, and will be saved from the storms of life. You can disarm the storms of your life, if you refuse to be terrified by it. The Bible tells us in Philippians 1:28 that our refusal to be terrified by the adversary , the devil is the evident token or demonstration of his perdition or defeat and a demonstration of your own salvation and victory, Alleluia. Remember, the Lord is your light and salvation, whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid? When the wicked, your enemies and foes brought storms against your life, the wicked and their storms failed(Psalm 27:1-3);The Lord is your Rock, and your Fortress, and your Deliverer,, and your God, and your strength, and your Buckler, and the Horn of your salvation, and your High Tower, in Him you will trust, and call upon, for He is worthy to be praised and He will save and deliver you from the storms of life and your enemies(Psalm 18:1-3); The Lord is your Refuge, Fortress and God(Psalm 91:2), Alleluia. Therefore: 2)Continuously declare what God is to you, and what you are in Christ in God. The more you declare Psalm 18:1-3,27:1-2,91:2, Colossians 3:3, Ephesians 2:6, the more your confidence level builds up, and then your faith , that will quench the fiery darts or storms from the devil, will grow stronger, Alleluia. If you pray in tongues, you accelerate the faith build-up process(Jude 20).Praying in the Spirit continuously is like the lance of the Roman soldier that shoots down the enemy, Alleluia. So, pray without ceasing in the Spirit, and let the Holy Spirit and the angels of God level the enemies, adversaries and storms opposing your destiny and progress, Alleluia. Death(defeat, failures, curses) and Life (triumph , success, blessing)are in the power of your tongue(Proverbs 18:21). Your life gradually takes ultimately the form of your predominant declaration, and your sub-conscious mind will gradually align your life with your words, and bring it into realization. If you declare needs most of the time, your life will take the form of a needy person. If you declare abundance most of the time, your life will take the form of abundant life. Your destiny is in your heart and mouth. God's covenant with man is to confirm and create what he declares predominantly. The way you use your tongue is like a rudder that governs the direction and success of a ship. What you say in your tongue is determined by what you think, feel and ultimately believe to be true.Jesus said we will have what we say.(Mark 11:23). God Almighty says He will do exactly what we speak in his ears(Numbers 14:28). He will perform and confirm what we say predominantly. Our Lord Jesus Christ had given us a mouth and wisdom(His Words), which no adversary or devil or storms can resist or gain say(Luke 17:15), and the storm will turn to us for a testimony(Luke 21:13). The ball is in our court. So continue to say it like the Psalmist said in Psalm 91:2 : I will continue to say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and Fortress, my God, in Him will I trust". The woman with issue of blood disease continued to say in her heart, that she would be made whole if she touches Jesus in Mathew 9:22. She did not stop speaking in her heart until she received her miracle. God answered her, because God was watching her heart, to make Himself strong on her behalf, Alleluia, glory to God(2 Chronicles 16:9). So what are you saying of the Lord in your heart. The secret is to CONTINUE to say it in our heart and mouth until you see yourself effortlessly displaying the character, conduct, conversation and the excellent virtues of our Lord Jesus Christ. Is that not the principal purpose of God in saving us(Romans 8:29) Alleluia, glory to God in the highest, Amen.

Answer to the Storms of life(1)

Text: Mark 4:35-41, John 15:5 The answer to the storm in your life is as follows 1. Continuously be in an attitude of rest like Jesus did.Jesus was asleep on a pillow.Rest does not mean complacency or inaction. By rest we mean strong and unshakeable confidence in God's ability to deliver you because your faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ had saved you and brought you nigh to God.You are in Christ(2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Corinthians 12:13),and your life is hid with Christ in God(Colossians 3:3) and nothing can happen to you without happening to Christ. Whatever storm is challenging you is challenging Jesus Christ.Rest is the result of your faith in God, His Word and the Blood of Jesus Christ, the finished work on the Cross, the help of the Holy Spirit; and is the opposite of fear and despondency. Job was robbed of victory because he was afraid.Job said the thing i greatly feared is come unto me;I was not in safety, neither had I rest,.......and trouble came.(Job 3:25-26). In Mark 40 Jesus asked the disciples after He calmed the storm "why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?".So fear is equivalent of zero or no faith! Remember faith is the shield that quenches the fiery darts of the wicked(Ephesians 6:16), that is quenches storms in our life. When God sees our faith, the Holy Spirit and innumerable company of angels encamping around us, as followers of Jesus Christ, Alleluia. Fear or no rest or lack of confidence in the omnipotent God-Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will steal your faith. In Exodus 14:13-14, we learn that God will fight for us, when we hold our peace. The battle against the storms in your life is not yours, but God's , Alleluia( 2 Chronicles 20:15).Remember you have chariots of fire and horses of fire that is angels surrounding you and your family(Psalm 34:7, Matthew 18:10,2 Kings 6:16-17).God the Father, God, the Son and God , the Holy Spirit will never leave you nor forsake you(Hebrews 13:5-6, Matthew 28:20). Jesus Christ has paid the price for your redemption from that storm. The Holy Spirit, The Word of God and The Blood of Jesus, are in control of this world and bear witness that you are the redeemed of the Lord(1 John 5:8).God is a wall of fire around you and your family(Zechariah 2:5). The Name of Jesus is a strong Tower surrounding you(Proverbs 18:10).Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are interceding for you continually(Hebrews 7:25, Romans 8:26). These provisions will not work for you unless you acknowledge them in your mind and consciousness and speak them out every time, the wicked one suggests sometime to create fear for you. Your faith is released and made stronger or effective as you acknowledge all these wonderful provisions from God Almighty because you believe in Christ , and you are in Christ. So do well to internalize this blog. It will help a great deal,Alleluia. Your philosophy or perspective in life determines what dominates in your life. The direction of your thoughts and feelings is the direction of your destiny. Let this post change your perspective, thoughts and feelings towards our Lord Jesus Christ. Look at Him, His Word, His Blood, His Finished Work, His triumph over the world, the wicked and all things, remembering you are a member of His Body, of His Bone , of His Flesh(Ephesians 5:30) and your life will begin to change, Alleluia.Your thoughts, feelings, words and actions determines the direction of your life and destiny. Your decision follwed by your choice is yours!Choose life, blessing and good all in Christ today, and the storm will cease, Amen.

Dealing with the storms of life (3)

Text:Mark 4:35-41, John 15:5 Storms of life are part of our redemptive package. This whole world lies in wickedness(1 John 5:19). Jesus said the world will hate us because we are His followers, because the world hated him. The devil is after the followers of Jesus, still reeling from the humiliation at the Cross. In our text, Jesus never sinned; He is our Savior and Bishop of our souls, but storms came against His boat.So storms will come against any one. From the Bible, every divine elevation was preceded by a storm.Examples are Joseph, David, Daniel and the three Hebrew children,Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the children of Israel, the heroes of faith and contemporary men of God in the past and even today. We can also view storms as great examinations from God to see what we are actually made of. Who we actually are show more clearly when we are in a storm. Deuteronomy 8:2 says God humbled the Jews to humble them, to prove them, and to know what was in their heart, whether they would keep His commandments or not. As a new covenant believer, you know the whole commandment is fulfilled and SUMMED UP in " love your neighbor as yourself"(Galatians 5:14).How? Gal.5:15 says do not bite and devour your neighbor with your tongue.2 Corinthians 8:8 posits we should give to one another to prove the sincerity of your love: give forgiveness, kindness, gentleness, goodness, mercy, honor, peace, joy, patience, encouragement, support, helps, comfort, bear with one another all things, communicate with one another, think no evil of any one, endure all things for one another without complaining or murmuring, repent always for any mistakes or wrong especially during a storm. Love is the debt we owe our neighbor as believers, which must pay to fulfill the law. You might say, who is sufficient for all this? The answer is, no one except with the help of the Holy Spirit(Ezekiel 36:27).Actually these virtues are not actually to be ours, but the fruit of the Spirit. The believer, you and I are FRUIT HANGERS(BRANCHES) to serve the Lord Jesus(THE VINE) to display these fruit of Jesus Christ(John 15:5)for the world to see how to live abundant life.We are to allow the life of Jesus Christ inside us(Colossians 1:27, 1 John 4:4) to overflow into the world as rivers of living water to bless humanity, Alleluia. The treasure in our earthen vessel had been locked in for too long, held captive in the flesh. The flesh profits nothing; so why give your precious and valuable time to the works of the flesh, instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to display the fruit of the Spirit of Jesus Christ in us as a member of His Body. It is time to allow righteousness, holiness, riches, blessings, treasures and the abundant life of Christ inside us to overflow to our neigbors and humanity. In the last blog, I shared how God said in Amos 9:13, that the mountains before us, He will cause to bring forth sweet wine, and the hills before us representing any area of barrenness or unfruitfulness in our lives, God will cause to overflow with spiritual blessings. Storms in our lives are synonymous with hills and mountains or plainly stated obstacles and challenges. But we have a part to play!It is our responsibility to yield ourselves in our desires, thoughts, words and actions to the Holy Spirit to manifest these virtues through us, because to whom you yield yourself as servant to obey, ye are in deed servant.Shalom. So how do we respond to the storms in our lives, after deciding to allow the Holy Spirit to take over?

Dealing with the storms of life-2

The Bible tells us in Amos 9:13(amplified version), that the mountains before us will bring forth sweet wine, and the hills before us (which is interpreted to be any area of our lives which is barren or unfruitful) shall melt and bring forth an overflow of spiritual blessings.Beloved, we should learn to have God's perspective about life, its challenges and difficulties. Yes, the Devil and people mean it for evil, but your heavenly Father will turn it to be good. That was the testimony of Joseph in Genesis 50:20.The Bible calls them light affliction which is but for a moment working for us exceeding weight of God's glory. The Bible says as a seed of Abraham, you cannot be cursed. Alleluia,Shalom . So the first step is to be joyful, knowing it is a trial of your faith to see whether the patience component of your faith is working right, and after that you will lack nothing, because your faith tested and tried will manifest the blessing in your life.alleluia, glory to God(James 1:4, Hebrews 6:12).

Dealing the storms of life-1

Storms of life can come from God like with Jonah (Jonah 1:4, 4:8) or from the devil like with Paul(Acts 27:14) and with our Lord Jesus and His disciples(Mark 4:37). Right now you may be experiencing a storm in your life : financial, marital, health, family, job, spiritual, emotional etc. This is not new. To get to the other side you desire which Jesus paid for, you will encounter a storm to challenge your divinity or your claim that you are a Christian. Shortly after the Lord declared Jesus Christ as His beloved Son in Luke 3:22, Satan went to challenge him through temptation in Luke 4:3,9. Storm is like sitting for a promotion examination to a higher class. Strong faith is a danger to the Devil anywhere. So he goes all out to make your faith weak by bringing storms to corrupt your mind with condemnation, with mistrust and with complaining and murmuring. Those who challenged their storms are the heroes of faith today. So what should be our initial response to storm since it is the pathway to promotion and blessing. The Bible says in James 1:2 and 2 Corinthians 12:10,that we should count it all joy when you are faced with diverse temptations because it is an opportunity for God to be glorified. In James 1:12, if you stand your ground in joy to endure the storm knowing that the Lord is working for, with and by you, you will be blessed , and received the crown of life, and it is a proof that you love God.It is those that patiently endured that obtained the promises.
